Josh Hinderer represents the next generation of excellence at Quality Home Inspections. With a passion for helping others and a dedication to mastering the craft, Josh has quickly become one of Wilmington’s most trusted and detail-oriented home inspectors.
Before joining the family business, Josh worked as a lifeguard for the local YMCA — a role that built his focus, accountability, and commitment to safety. Growing up, he often accompanied his dad, Ted Hinderer, on inspections, watching firsthand how professionalism and precision earned the trust of clients. By his senior year of high school, Josh knew he wanted to follow in those footsteps and officially join Quality Home Inspections.
Over the past three years, Josh has trained directly under his father, learning every step of the inspection process — from identifying hidden defects to delivering client-focused service. He’s completed the InterNACHI Certified Home Inspector Course and holds his Delaware Home Inspector License. To stay sharp, Josh also takes quarterly continuing education courses, expanding his technical expertise and staying current with evolving building standards.
Josh’s long-term goal is to carry on the company’s family tradition of accuracy, honesty, and client satisfaction — ensuring that homeowners across Delaware continue to receive the best service possible.
Outside of inspections, Josh enjoys outdoor activities such as camping, kayaking, and fishing, and he’s also an avid video game enthusiast.
